BoredLA and SCribes- Free Read has put together an art show for the people of L.A. We are showcasing over a dozen local artists at this cute little cafe recently featured on our site called the Ragazzi Room. It’s a USC hang out where students can come get food, drink tea, and study; but we want to make it much more. That’s why our contributor Jane decided the bare brick walls needed something to liven it up and what better way than original art? She has already started hanging works up, with more to go. This Saturday will be the big night featuring the artists themselves as well as several live performances by Steve Ellsworth, Chris Olson, (both from the local band Veil Era), Shannon Inouye “News From Nowhere”, and Shani Shousterman. All are very talented musicians and are really worth a listen. The lineup so for for artists is:
Arion Lapuz, Ben Koffman, Jade Legrande, Andrea Zeppilli, Ceceila Webber, Michael John, Lauren Hostetter, Luis Pichardo, Vicki Mizel, Brenda So, Julie So, Evan Cummiskey, Taylor Brechdel, Lorna Alkana, Monique Trudeau, Kate Raphael, Toni Cannon

It’s going to be a really fun night and I hope that all of our readers can come out and support our first official BoredLA event and support all of the talent through out the night.
